Coral Gables is the most design-sensitive market I work in. Most of the houses I see south of Coral Way are 1920s and 1930s Mediterranean originals — barrel-tile roofs, plaster walls over clay tile, archways that are part of the load path. The wrong contractor flattens the character in a week. The right one keeps it and brings the bath up to 2026 expectations.
Neighborhoods I work in: South Gables, the blocks around Miracle Mile, the original Mediterranean streets east of Granada, and the 1950s ranch belt off Bird. Anything within the Coral Gables historic district I'll flag for review before I touch — paint colors, tile choices, even hardware finishes can land you a letter from the city.
