Drywall and paint with sharp lines.
Holes from a door knob, water damage from a leaking AC, full-room drywall replacement, or a whole-house repaint after closing. I cut clean patches, sand smooth, and don't leave roller marks on the ceiling.
What's included, and what isn't.
Every estimate I write makes this list explicit. No mid-job surprises.
Included in my labor
- Drywall patch, tape, mud, sand (3 coats)
- Skim coat where the existing wall is rough
- Primer + 2 coats of finish paint
- Crisp ceiling-to-wall and wall-to-trim cut lines
- Plastic and drop-cloth protection of floors and furniture
Not included
- Popcorn ceiling removal with asbestos (must be tested + abated first)
- Cabinet refinishing (different process)
- Exterior stucco patching (refer out)

Pricing covers my labor only. You buy materials direct from Home Depot at retail — no markup, no "materials handling" fee. I'll hand you the shopping list before the job.

Walk-through
30 min on-site. I count rooms, measure walls, and check for any wet spots that need to dry first.

Estimate + color help
Labor estimate next day. If you want help picking colors, I'll spend 30 min with you at Sherwin-Williams.

Prep
Move furniture to center, drop-cloth floors, plastic on cabinets and built-ins.
04
Patch + paint
Patch, sand, prime, two coats. Usually 1–4 days depending on size.
05
Final walk
Cut lines checked, drop-cloths up, furniture back.

Both work. SW is what I default to because of the Pompano store hours and contractor pricing. If you have a specific BM color, I'll match it.
Do I need to leave the house?
Only the rooms I'm actively painting that day. With low-VOC paint, you can stay in the other rooms.
How long does paint take to dry?
Touch-dry in 1 hour, recoat at 4 hours, fully cured at 30 days. I won't put furniture against a freshly painted wall for at least 48 hours.
